Kara leads financial planning for Westfuller’s comprehensive, mission-aligned wealth and investment advisory services. Kara is a global citizen who started her career in financial services at Citibank followed by leadership roles at Accenture, where she was a Managing Director, and Korn/Ferry where she was a Vice President.
Kara enjoys building and supporting organizations that better her community. Before joining Westfuller, she founded KGK Capital Advisors to provide guidance for those who want to be more financially savvy but did not know where to start. She was also the executive sponsor for Sky’s the Limit, an advisor for Outdoor Afro and a Board Member for Youth Outside.
Kara earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and a B.A. in Economic and International Relations from Brown University. She has completed courses at Harvard Business School, London School of Economics and UC Berkeley, where she earned her Certified Financial Planning credential. Kara holds the Series 65 license.
Having extensive experience working and living abroad, she is conversational
in French and Italian and her ultimate joy comes from having the time and space to connect with family and friends, learn new cultures, curate playlists, hike and travel.
